The Laureti way...
Alessandro Reserve Pays tribute to the Laureti’s winemaking heritage and in memory of a beloved father to brothers, Frank and Serge.
Alessandro produced wine in Italy before immigrating with his wife Maria to Australia in the 1950’s. This collection recognises the man for his principles in keeping life simple.
Wine has long been a part of the family culture, “Growing up there was never a meal without a glass of wine, it became the Laureti way of life” Frank says.
Alessandro believed in working hard and with passion, he delighted in time spent with family and friends, all the while enjoying the pleasures of good food and great wine!
Seventeen years ago, Frank Laureti was introduced to Saddler’s Creek Wines by a friend where he fell in love with the wines and became Club Equus member.
In 2015, Wendy and husband Frank and brother Serge became the proud owners of Saddler’s Creek Wines. Our goal was to make the best wines we could, expand the wine club with a focus on delivering what our members wanted and create a community where people can come together and share life’s simple pleasures… the Laureti way.
Saddler’s Creek Wines, remains a boutique and proudly family owned winery specialising in crafting premium wines.

Celebrating life's simple pleasures
It is still a cherished tradition to gather each Sunday at Nonna Maria’s home with the family and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Passionate conversations and delicious food including Nonna’s famous meatballs all enjoyed with a glass or two of wine.
At 92 years, Maria continues to cook with passion, nurture, and care for her family. Maria lives her life by following a simple philosophy – be good, be kind, be humble.

Succulent white peach, with juicy nectarines and a hint of grapefruit, it’s rich and elegant, the oak is gentle yet flavoursome and complex.
Winemaker’s Comment
Through the use of delicate fermentation and battonage, we have been able to capture the generous fruit characters and lively acidity that these two cool climate terroirs produce. Subtle oak integration from six months maturation in a blend of new and seasoned François Frères Oak from Saint-Romain in Burgundy, France. A beautifully balanced and textural wine of refined finesse.

Foods with fat and proteins that require slow cooking pair well with big structured reds. The tannins complement fat on a molecular level and help to bring out the flavour of the food.
