Renowned for its intensely aromatic bouquet, Gewurztraminer, often referred to as "Gewurz" or "Traminer, is a highly sought after variety, originating from the Pfalz in Germany.

Grown in Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley, and allowed 6 hours of skin contact between the crushed berries and the juice, we have produced a beautiful, aromatic wine, loaded with notes of rose petal, lychee and vibrant exotic fruit.

Thanks to the spiced aroma and palate, this wine can stand up to and enhance dishes packed with flavour such as Moroccan tangines and Szechuan cuisine.

Gorgeously fragrant, with the scent of lychee-tinged pink rose petals, freshly squeezed lemon, bergamot and calamansi. The palate is bright, flowing and expansive, with gentle spice, delicate texture and perfect ripeness. Six hours of skin contact from foot-stomped fruit, followed by six months in tank, has built just the right amount of weight and harmony. The florals are refined, the phenolics ultra-fine and the wine graceful. Perfectly judged in every way.
