- Tasting Notes
A rare varietal in the Hunter Valley these days. This Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on 25 year old vines rom our very own Saddler's Creek Vineyard.
Reminiscent of the esteemed "Left Bank" Cabernets of Bordeaux, this wine demonstrates structure and finesse with a lifted strawberry and roses bouquet.
The fine grain tannins and cherry acid structure within this wine are obscenely moreish while the dried bay leaf, white pepper and strained oak spice fill the back palate, leaving you wanting more.
