Description
Sourced entirely from the Old Barn vineyard. This low lying vineyard is protected from extreme weather and kept cool in the height of summer. LC-14 Clone is planted on red sandy loam with fragments of limestone at depth. Langhorne Creek experienced exceptional growing conditions in 2018 allowing us to craft a wine of incredible flavour. Maturation in 50% new and 50% seasoned American oak for 25 months produced a rich and robust Shiraz. Limited production 220 cases.

Our 2019 Alessandro Reserve Shiraz showcases premium Langhorne Creek fruit sourced entirely from the low lying Riversend Vineyard. With an altitude of only 64 metres above sea level these vines are protected from extreme weather events and kept cool in the height of summer. Maturation in 50% new and 50% old American oak for 25 months, this full bodied Shiraz displays a core of blackberry and mocha with excellent length and persistent tannins.
