Our 2022 Alessandro Reserve Merlot was harvested entirely from the Lambert Estate Vineyard in the famous Barossa Valley, SA.
Grown in the sandy loam soils over clay sub-base, this medium bodied fruit forward wine is rich on the palate with characters of plum and blackberry and finishes with subtle hints of mocha.
Matured in old French and American oak. Limited production 250 cases. Enjoy now or cellar for 10+ years

Opaque core into a deep ruby rim. Rich aromas of dark chocolate and poached plums. The palate is equally big; plum fruits sit through the middle with savoury earthy and dark spice notes along the edge. Tannins have a gritty power to them, accentuating a touch of saline minerality as it lingers long on the palate. Food will be a benefit here
