Tumbarumba - 57% - Wilkinson / Yarramundi Vineyard - Planted 1992. Sandy clay loam over decomposed shale. Harvested 3/3/21

Langhorne Creek - 43% Follett Vineyard - Planted 2002. Deep red sand over loam. Harvest 22/2/21 and 6/3/21

    • Winemaking

Our 2021 Alessandro Reserve Chardonnay is produced from a blend of high quality fruit from two renowned grape growing regions, Tumbarumba, NSW and Langhorne Creek, SA. Through the use of delicate fermentation and battonage, we have been able to capture the generous fruit characters and lively acidity that these two terroirs produce. Subtle oak intergration from five months maturation in a blend of new and old Francois Frere Oak from Saint-Romain in Burgundy, Frane, gives the wine beautiful balance and complexity which is rich and refined.
