A perfectly mild season with cool nights allowed steady fruit ripening and vibrant flavour development with lower yields ensuring lovely structure and length of flavour.

Harvested in the cool of the night and cold soaked for 5 days before fermentation, the wine was then matured for 18 months in 40% new and 60% old American Oak barriques.

A rambunctious yet refined full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of dark chocolate after dinner mints, sumptuous blood plum and mocha reveal a textured mouthfeel with a layer complexity of dark fruit and tannin. The finish is long and lingering.
