The Single Suitcase Collection is our family’s tribute to the Italian migrants who arrived in Australia in the 1950s with courage, tradition and a suitcase full of dreams. Alongside their hard work, they brought a way of life that shaped the Australian table: long lunches, big flavours and wine poured with generosity.
For the Laureti family, this story is personal. Alessandro Laureti made wine in Abruzzo before bringing his young family to Australia in 1955. His table was never without bread, pasta, cheese and of course wine. Always shared. Never rushed. That spirit lives on in every glass at Saddler’s Creek.

This guided tasting brings those stories to life with four limited release wines from our Single Suitcase Collection. The varietals trace their roots to Italy, yet each wine is proudly grown and handcrafted in the Hunter Valley. Small batch, expressive and food friendly.
