BLUEGRASS BASH – SATURDAY 2nd MAY

Bluegrass New Vs Aged Tasting

Bluegrass Tasting

New vs Aged

Experience what time does to premium red wines crafted for longevity. Taste six iconic Bluegrass wines new release vs aged release. Daily guided tasting at the Cellar Door.

If you have ever wondered what happens to a great red wine after years in the cellar, this is your chance to taste the answer.

The Bluegrass Collection is our iconic range of full-flavoured reds loved for over 30 years. This season we are releasing the 2023 Bluegrass Collection. Bold, bright and fruit-driven, these are wines you can enjoy tonight. These are wines that are also crafted for longevity, which no good cellar should be without. This is how Bluegrass earned its reputation as one of Australia's most loved red wine collections.

As we release the new 2023 vintage, we have also opened the cellar with limited allocation of aged Bluegrass from 2016 and 2017 which are featuring in a very special comparison tasting. These wines have been carefully held back, quietly developing until they were ready. They are rare, they are limited, and once they are gone, they do not come back.

In this guided tasting, you will sit down with our team and taste three brackets of Bluegrass, experience the 2023 new release with its cellar-aged counterpart. Same vineyard. Same winemaker. Years apart. You will taste how the tannins soften, how the flavour deepens and how a wine built for the cellar evolves into something extraordinary.

Whether you are a seasoned collector, a curious red wine lover or someone chasing something more elevated than a cellar door pour, this is the tasting to book.
