Our vision for CLUB EQUUS extends far beyond a mere wine delivery service. It aims to foster a vibrant wine community, where kindred spirits gather to revel in life’s simple pleasures, forging enduring connections and creating cherished memories with each glass.
CLUB EQUUS was originally a cherished membership for Frank and Wendy Laureti, who later assumed ownership of the winery in 2016 along with brother Serge. Their primary objective was to evolve the wine club to be all about you.
Whether it’s enabling you to tailor your Club Selection or warmly inviting friends and family to join us at the winery to enjoy some Laureti hospitality, we wholeheartedly want you to feel like a cherished member of our family.
Our EQUUS Collection represents our very best wines, crafted exclusively for our CLUB EQUUS members.
Released only in extraordinary vintages when super premium fruit enables us to craft truly exceptional wines that can be enjoyed for years to come, these are the wines that literally don’t exist every year.
2021 EQUUS SHIRAZ
REGION: Langhorne Creek, SA
Tasting Note
Elegant, rich and refined. Decadent red fruits are beautifully balanced with a rich and textural palate, the fine tannins give a silky long and lingering finish
Winemaker’s Note
Sourced from the Old Barn, Rivers End Vineyard, Langhorne Creek, SA.
The vines were planted into limestone over a red brown sandy clay loam. Receiving minimal irrigation and naturally producing low yields of small, flavourful berries in open bunches. Renowned for producing powerful and intensely flavoured Shiraz.
This spectacular wine spent 20 months in a single French Oak Foudre (2500Lt) revealing a wine of finesse and elegance.
In keeping with our commitment to preserving tradition, the 2021 Shiraz from the EQUUS Collection is lovingly bottled in a robust, premium ‘Thor’ glass bottle. Sealed with a wax seal and cork of the highest quality. We emphasise the importance of storing this remarkable wine lying down to prevent any cork shrinkage.
Only 250 cases of this wine were produced.

2022 EQUUS SHIRAZ
REGION: Barossa Valley, SA
Tasting Note
Luscious, dark cherry aromas. The palate is rich with blood plum, raspberry, and boysenberry backed up with an oak profile of dark cacao.
Winemaker’s Note
Sourced from the Ballpark Vineyard.
Only the most premium quality fruit was selected from the Ballpark Vineyard in the renowned Barossa Valley to craft this rich, gravity inducing wine.
Grown on a sandy loam soil undercut by Barossa clay and granite allows for impeccable ripening, producing exceptional fruit. Matured for 21 months in 100% new and old, high quality Californian Oak giving an oak complexity unparalleled.

Tasting Note
A big bold Chardonnay with a rich buttery goodness. Vibrant hints of citrus and succulent stone fruits, layered complexity of oak with a creamy lush mouth feel.

36% – Pecadore Vineyard, Langhorne Creek
34% – Ryan Estate, Hillside Vineyard, Hunter Valley
30% – Bellevue Vineyard, Mudgee
Hand selected parcels from three of Australia’s premium growing regions create a wine of great elegance with layered complexity. Langhorne Creek contributes powerful structure and body. Hunter Valley old vines offer concentrated fruit flavour, spice and elegance. Mudgee’s higher altitude delivers outstanding colour intensity and depth. Cold soaked for five days prior to cool ferment. Matured for 20 months in American Oak with 22% new oak.
