Single Suitcase SeriesPecorino
2026 Pecorino · Hunter Valley, New South Wales
A fresh and expressive take on Pecorino, showcasing the variety's natural acidity alongside its distinctive textural character.
Description
Beautifully textural and acidic, this Hunter Valley Pecorino opens with aromas of fresh apple, bruised lime leaf, with hints of ripe peach if let to breathe, unfolding into a dry, crisp acidity on the tongue with lime, lemon zest, and crisp green apple softened by its silky texture. The palate holds on, with a very long and buttery finish marked by lemon, pastry and floral nuances with a hint of spice. Pair with oily seafoods, creamy pastas (with plenty of Pecorino cheese, if available) and good company.

"Single Suitcase" collection pays tribute to the many immigrants who arrived in Australia during the 1950s with just a single suitcase and dreams of building a better life.
Bringing more than just their dreams in hand, these immigrants carried their deep viticultural traditions and passionate love of table wine, profoundly shaping Australia's diverse wine landscape and the varietals we cherish today.
