Made from one of the earliest vintages on record, it hooks you with expansive flavours of citron tart, honeyed pear and glacé pineapple. A gentle mealy character from extended lees ageing brings contrast and shade, while an undercurrent of grapefruit adds energy and tension. Bold yet balanced.

    This Alessandro Chardonnay is a masterclass in blending for complexity. A collection of fruit from 3 different premium Chardonnay blocks throughout the Hunter Valley has resulted in this texturally decadent, stone fruit drive wine. 100% sur lie French oak maturation has developed an enticing bouquet of peach, apricot and nectarine. All vineyards introduce unique characteristics to a wine which amalgamate to produce an incredible wine both in its youth and as it ages.
