Spend $200 or more on wine in October for your chance to win a trip to Saddler’s Christmas Carols on 4th December 2026.

Three ways to taste Saddler's Creek

Saddler's Creek is owned by the Laureti family and makes five wine collections: the Saddler's Collection, the Single Suitcase Series, Winemaker's Craft, Bluegrass and the Alessandro Reserve. Every wine in every collection is made by our winemakers, Brett Woodward and Sam Rumpit.

Each tasting is six wines, seated and guided, and every wine you taste is there to take home. Tastings run seven days a week and the last tasting is at 3:30pm. You can add a cheese plate when you book. The only question is which six.

Classic Tasting, Hunter Heroes

The Classic Tasting is built around the Hunter classics, the traditional wines the Hunter Valley is known for. If you are visiting the Hunter and want to taste wines from this region, or this is your first ever tasting, this is the one to choose.

Winemaker's Pick, the Single Suitcase Series

The Winemaker's Pick changes with the seasons. It is the winemakers' recommendation and includes wines that have just been released. Select this option if you are interested in trying new emerging varietals that are lighter in style than the traditional wines from the Hunter Valley.

From 1 October to mid January it is the Single Suitcase Series.

Saddler's is owned by the Laureti family whose parents came out from Italy in the 1950s with a single suitcase and a handful of dreams. These wines are named after their pioneering and adventurous spirit. Today, we are crafting these Italian varietals, grown in various regions across Australia, where they thrive best, allowing each place to bring out their true character.

Booking past mid January? The next season's line-up is announced in January and your booking carries straight across.

Reserve Tasting, Alessandro and Bluegrass

The Alessandro Reserve and Bluegrass wines are made from reserve parcels of fruit, selected to make our very best wines. They are bolder in style but crafted for elegance.

Which one suits you best?

If you want to experience Hunter Valley wines, the Classic Tasting is your best option. If you want to try trending new varietals you might never have tried before, choose the Winemaker's Pick. If you want top shelf, the Reserve Tasting is for you. If you are unsure, give us a call on 02 4991 1770 and we can help you decide. If you book a Classic and want to change on the day, tell the team and they can help you upgrade.

The Laureti Way

Saddler's is more than just a winery, it's a Hunter Valley destination we created for bringing people together over good food and wine, family hospitality the Laureti way. The live music, the food from Mangia at Saddler's, the picnic grounds where families gather, they all exist because the point was never just the wine, it was the connection around it. This is a place for making memorable occasions over a glass, the kind you remember long after the glass is empty.

Wine crafted with heart and soul, made for sharing.
