Every weekend at Saddler’s Creek, we host a themed Masterclass that showcases food and wine pairings with featured wines. Each masterclass is a chance to get one on one with our wine experts and learn in-depth about our new releases and exclusive limited release wines we have made available for these harmonious food and wine pairing sessions. Your wine expert will also cover food and wine pairing fundamentals.
These masterclass sessions are ideal for budding wine connoisseurs and novices alike who want to expand on their wine knowledge and learn about wine characteristics and how they are made. These sessions are conducted as a wine flight that allows you to evaluate the nuisances of each variety and style, evaluate the difference in aromas and taste. You are then able to pair each wine with food to get a harmonious experience of the flavour palettes that are paired perfectly with each grape variety. Your wine expert will guide you through how the wine is made, its characteristics and style, and how best to enjoy them. Your wine flight is paired with a degustation plate prepared by the chefs at Vincent St Kitchen + Bar, six wines paired with six small bites. Each masterclass is held in our Hunter Valley winery amongst the wine barrels and is only available for limited numbers.
