For one night only, the Barrel Room at Saddler's Creek Wines in Pokolbin becomes an intimate comedy lounge. Comedy All Stars brings three of Australia's sharpest stand up comics together with a three course Italian dinner by Venetian born Chef Chiero, and Saddler's Creek wines poured just metres from where they are made. It is part of the Saddler's After Hours series.
The lineup
Peter Berner headlines. One of Australia's most popular and respected comics and broadcasters, seen on The B Team with Peter Berner, Einstein Factor, Backberner, Good News Week, Rove, Sunrise, The Fat and The Footy Show.
Andrew Barnett co headlines. Quick witted and sharp tongued, seen on The Back Page, Fox League and Fox Cricket, and co host of The Night Watchman on Fox Cricket.
Julia Wilson hosts as MC. An international performer whose gutsy, high energy comedy has thrilled audiences across Britain, Australia, South Africa, Croatia, Germany and Canada.
The full lineup runs around 90 minutes with a short interval, with reserved seating at your dinner table.
Dinner by Chef Chiero
To start. Polipetti alla Buzara, slow cooked baby octopus in a tomato sauce with grilled polenta.
Main, your choice of. Herb crusted lamb rack with roasted root vegetables, or the Chef Chiero Baccalà, pan seared blue eye cod with parsley sauce, bread crisps, peas and broad bean caponata.
To finish. Tiramisù Alternativo, an Italian mascarpone mousse with Guatemala coffee and Marsala infused savoiardi.
